Clélia Chevrier Kolačko

Born in 1977, Clélia Chevrier Kolačko is a career diplomat. Prior to her appointment as Ambassador to Cyprus, Clélia Chevrier Kolačko served as Deputy Director of Global Affairs at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2022. Her Division was responsible for managing French ODA, supporting the 2030 Agenda, and conducting international negotiations in the fields of climate, environment, health, food security, gender and education. She was previously appointed as Cultural Counsellor at the French Embassy in Morocco and Director-general of the French Cultural Institute in Morocco (2018), Head of the Department of Higher Education and Research at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2015), Deputy Head of Mission at the French Embassy in Croatia (2011) and Deputy Finance Advisor at the French Embassy in Russia (2008). A graduate of Paris’ Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po) and of the University of Mannheim (Diplom-Kauffrau) in International Management and Organisation, she speaks German, English, Croatian, Russian and Spanish. Clélia Chevrier Kolačko is married and has one child.
