Dr Dritan Abazović is a prominent politician, intellectual, and academic from Montenegro. He is the first Prime Minister in the history of the Western Balkans to be elected from among minority communities. In addition to serving as Prime Minister, Dr Abazović held the position of Deputy Prime Minister responsible for security and made a significant contribution to the fight against corruption and the establishment of the rule of law. He also played a key role in preserving Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic orientation.
