Irene Poyiadji comes from Limassol and has an academic background in Political Science, History, International Relations and European Studies. She holds a degree in Political Science and History from Panteion University of Athens and a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Nicosia.
She has been serving at the bank’s headquarters in the Organizational & Methods sector and as a Project Manager, with the objective, among others, of studying and implementing regulatory obligations, the adjusting of internal procedures and the managing of digitization projects.
In addition to her professional career, Irene Poyiadji has developed an active presence in the public debate, with regular articles on political and international issues in print and electronic media. She is a member of the Cyprus Centre for European and International Affairs of the University of Nicosia. She has also participated in conferences, discussions and actions on topics related to geopolitics, international relations, European politics and public institutional functioning.
