A professional fire officer for 30 years. Extensive experience in disaster risk reduction and management, and operational deployments in France, Europe, Euromed region and South America. Expert of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism; participates in drills, advisory missions, peer reviews and thematic expert groups.
Member of advisory boards for European projects and consortia.
He has worked for the French Ministry of the Interior, within the Directorate-General for Civil Security, at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, at the Union for the Mediterranean, and at the French Embassy in Amman (Jordan).
He’s currently a volunteer fire officer at the Fire and Rescue Service of Gard Department, France, and works as a senior advisor on Civil Defence and Resilience at Sopra Steria Group.
