Menelaos Kyprianou is the managing partner of Michael Kyprianou Law Firm, one of the largest firms in Cyprus employing more than 60 lawyers and with 11 offices across 9 jurisdictions.
Menelaos himself focuses in the area of litigation and during his now 30-year career has acted in numerous complex and high value cross border cases. He has also been involved in a number of cases before the Supreme Court of Cyprus which have created a precedence in the fields of corporate and commercial law, shipping law, medical negligence law and defamation.
In 2025 Menelaos was appointed by the President of the Republic of Cyprus as a member of a select team advising the President and the chief negotiator in relation to the settlement talks that are taking place with the Turkish Cypriot community.
Menelaos was also a member of the board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission during the years 2007 – 2011.
